Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful old‑style decor. Good breakfast. Comfortable rooms. Walking distance to the train station and central Hamburg. Some great restaurants nearby. It didn’t particularly bother us but the surrounding area is a bit “seedy.” To be expected in a big city near the main train station. Nonetheless we actually found it quite interesting and even entertaining, and never felt unsafe at all.

I booked this hotel for my parents. They absolutely loved everything about it – the room design, the cleanliness, the staff and their amazing breakfast. Now I am looking forward to staying there as well!

We had no breakfast. The room and the hotel overall were very nice and cozy, the beds were comfortable, and the reception was also very friendly. The location isn’t very good. At night it was loud because homeless people were in a nearby driveway. The surrounding area isn’t exactly welcoming, but everyone feels it differently.

Die Mitarbeiter waren alle super freundlich und haben uns jede Frage äußerst hilfsbereit beantwortet. Die zentrale Lage zum Hauptbahnhof war auch super praktisch. Auf dem nächtlichen Weg vom Bahnhof zum Hotel fühlten wir uns nicht ganz so sicher
