I liked how spacious the house was, but it was a let‑down that the listing said there was a pool when it was actually inactive. It wasn’t too hot, but with kids around, they were all over the place trying to splash even though the pool was unusable. Ants were everywhere and the overall cleanliness felt neglected. The staff who helped us were very friendly, and they weren’t the owners themselves but hired by the proprietor who lives in Madrid. While we were staying, they came in to fix a broken sofa, which seemed odd to me.
