The B&B was a beautiful, cozy place with a lovely green garden full of lemon trees and Mediterranean plants, a real little oasis. Highlights included the service and check‑in: we arrived by ferry in the morning and were contacted via WhatsApp—an extremely early and flexible check‑in that worked smoothly for us! The location is about 5 minutes to the center of San Teodoro and 10–15 minutes on foot to the beach (La Cinta) or the harbor. The rooms have newly renovated bathrooms and are clean and very comfortable. The concept is great trust‑based: coffee, cold drinks or wine can be taken anytime and paid simply through the piggy bank or coffee box. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, eggs on request, and typical Italian sweets. Parking is available on the right side next to the neighboring building, where guests of Marco & Catia always parked. The absolute highlight, however, are Marco & Catia: they are incredibly loving, attentive, and warm. They take great pleasure in caring for all guests and give excellent tips for the best restaurants and beaches nearby. We had a fantastic time in gorgeous summer weather and would love to return. The only negative was that we personally sleep on very firm mattresses, so the local ones were too soft for us—this is a common issue in almost every hotel and is, of course, a matter of personal preference.
