“Very good price-performance in a central location with real Venetian flair”

Breakfast was very good for Italy; the only thing missing were vegetables and fruit. The bed was excellent. The landlord wasn’t physically present but could be reached anytime via WhatsApp and responded quickly. The location was excellent, central, about 5 minutes to the Arsenale and 10 minutes to Marcus Square, making it best for visiting the biennale (Arsenale and Giardini). All rooms had bright lights (good for reading in bed, which you rarely get even in good hotels). There are valuable restaurants nearby. The room was rather small and dark (although on the 2nd floor, probably normal in private Venice houses in the center). The bath, toilet, and electricity were not in perfect condition, but the landlord helped quickly and we could manage.

Nicola, the host, was very helpful and caring, even though he wasn’t present on site at the time. The location is excellent, the area is quiet and not overrun with tourists. It’s close to both the Biennale and San Marco. The room’s furnishings are showing their age, but the price reflects that.

Nicola was very attentive and willing to answer all questions. The room was quiet and offered rest. The space was cozy and friendly. Traveling with an elderly adult and not having a way to transport luggage was inconvenient. A small oven to heat food is missing.

“Bon rapport qualité prix”

I liked the cleanliness of the place. The relative proximity of the accommodation to St. Mark’s Square and the Arsenale vaporetto station was convenient. I did not appreciate the noise from the neighbor’s housework, as well as the coffee machine outages. Breakfast was rather limited.

Good communication via WhatsApp with the landlord. On the first day, the power went out during breakfast, and there was no contact person to solve the issue.
