Casa dos Ulloa

We stayed at Casa dos Ulloa and it was simply a 10; the place is spectacular, with a special charm that shows up from the first moment and invites you to disconnect and enjoy without rushing. What really sets it apart is Cándido, whose service is unbeatable: close, attentive to every detail, always ready to help, making you feel at home as soon as you arrive. Definitely a place we’ll return to and recommend to anyone who wants to explore Ourense calmly in a beautiful setting. Thanks for everything, Cándido!

“Het was een heerlijk verblijf in een prachtig oud gebouw. Heel authentiek!”

The breakfast was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The courtyard was nice; we could have our own lunch there and the owner even gave us grapes! The room was a bit small, there were no chairs on the balcony, and flies kept coming into the room.

“Para desconectar”

We booked this hotel by chance because we were traveling from Galicia to Madrid and wanted to stop for the night, and it turned out to be a great decision. The pazo is beautiful, with a lot of charm in both the common areas and the rooms. The bed is very comfortable, the sheets are wonderful, and the bathroom is clean and comfortable. There was no air conditioning in our room, but it’s not needed; we slept wonderfully without it. There’s private parking in front, another plus. The location is good for disconnecting, you feel the tranquility, and the town of Ribadavia is 10 minutes by car and worth visiting. Most importantly, I want to highlight the kindness of Mónica and her husband; it’s nice to meet people like that. I just want to let anyone know not to follow Waze directions to get here, because it sends you the wrong way and the streets are complicated; Google Maps works fine!
