The view of the Cathedral from our room was fantastic, and the little extras like the mugs, glasses, and a chocolate on the pillow were nice touches. The room felt a bit cold and rough, the quilt was thin, the towels were small and thin, and the bed had lumps.

The location fit what I needed: close to public transport, supermarkets, and there was free parking that proved handy. The microwave in the room saved me from eating cold food in the evenings. The toilet was on the corridor and, although I was told it was just for me, the door was open several times. Damp signs appeared on the ceiling, and the floor next to the shower was sunken. Even though a desk was present, the fridge, microwave, and kettle took up all the space, so any work had to be done in bed.

The location was good, and the room was clean and well equipped. The shower water was either ice cold or boiling hot.
