“Suzie and Rhys weekend”

The apartment was nice and spacious, with a comfortable bed, a fridge, and a patio door opening onto the front garden. However, there was no hot water except for the shower, and Sunday night was noisy with doors slamming. Outside, there was a lot of litter, and the extractor fan was fake, useless, and tripped the mains fuse when the socket switch was accidentally turned on. The chest drawers had broken handles, the wardrobe seemed like it might fall, and there were no bedside tables or lamps. The crockery was insufficient—only two pieces of each item were available. The toilet roll ran out after three days, and we only had one towel for two people. Attempts to contact staff for help were unsuccessful.

The room and the toilet were clean, but I couldn't ignore the unpleasant smell of the bed, bedsheet, and pillow; it didn't feel fresh at all.

“Mixed feelings, wouldn’t stay there again though due to safety”

I appreciated the solitude, but a burglary in the neighboring room, a cooking hood without a hob, and a man knocking on my door claiming he had a room code for a vacant room made me feel unsafe. I left before my booked period ended, and I never received a refund after requesting one. I heard rumors of a stabbing and that staff were unclear, which added to my discomfort.

“Poor conditions”

I appreciated having my own shower room, which helped me feel somewhat clean before I left. However, the bedding and walls were covered in stains, so we had to purchase our own for the night, and the mattress had huge stains too. A strong smell lingered in the room and the walls were very thin, with hair and dust all over the sides and floors. Every piece of furniture was broken and held up with wooden planks.

“We wont use this accommodation again.”

The RCD tripped as soon as we turned on the cooker hood light. There was no hot water, and the fridge stopped working—probably because the breaker had tripped.
