“Dépaysement total !”

The room offered a very pretty view and absolute calm, with a very handy parking spot. The bedding was good quality and the cleanliness impeccable. However, the lighting intensity in the room was too weak, the shower bar was poor quality, hot water pressure low, and the breakfast was a bit too simple with a short serving window for a weekend.

We were truly disappointed – the service left a lot to be desired. Our stay at La Côte Bleue was let down by the service, reception, and overall quality of the offerings. The breakfast was especially poor: very limited choices, items not restocked, and staff seemed annoyed whenever we asked for anything. The most shocking was seeing a staff member, who was supposed to escort us to our table, choose to vacuum the breakfast area while customers were still eating – a totally inappropriate situation. We were so disappointed that we cancelled the second‑day breakfast, yet no one asked why or if something was wrong. There was a complete lack of customer attention. The room was outdated, with décor and equipment that seriously needed modernization. In short, a very disappointing stay marked by a lack of professionalism, attention, and service sensibility. We do not recommend this property and have no intention of returning.

The location was gorgeous with a beautiful view, and the restaurant was very good. The young man at reception was almost not smiling, and we found him annoying; it would be better if he changed jobs. The rest of the team was very pleasant. Still, it’s only a 3‑star place.
