Perched at 1,150 m in the Krkonoše Mountains, Erlebachova Bouda lies 6 km from Špindlerův Mlýn and 200 m from ski slopes. Rooms have balconies with mountain‑valley views, Wi‑Fi, and private bathrooms. The wellness zone includes an indoor pool, saunas, whirlpools, and herbal baths. On‑site restaurant serves Czech cuisine; a mini‑zoo delights families. Nearby hiking trails and the St Francis Chapel add tranquility.

The place is well‑located, the staff are friendly, and the breakfast is excellent. However, the deposit process went awry; we were asked to pay a higher amount due to the exchange rate, which was significantly more than expected. When I pointed out the discrepancy, the colleague accepted the booking price in euros. Despite that, the staff were very nice. The room wasn’t cleaned daily, but it would have been fine if the trash had been taken out.

One of the best stays in the Krkonoše mountains, with spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and a lovely bathroom. The food is superb and the breakfast is outstanding, with Benedict eggs on weekends—pure fire. The location on the ridges is great for starting hikes. The only issue is the wellness area: it’s confusing and half the saunas are in the kids’ zone. In the non‑swim zone there are only about three saunas, though I do appreciate the cooling tub.
