The location was great for the Brudenell Social Club, close to shops and a railway station, the room was large with a kitchenette, and the gym was a nice bonus. There was no tea, coffee, milk or shower gel provided, and check‑in was slow; the staff were friendly but didn’t know which room to assign us when we arrived.

The hotel feels nice and comfy, but the surrounding area is a bit rough and I couldn't find a decent place to eat.

The staff were brilliant and went out of their way to make sure we were welcomed and comfortable, the facilities were excellent, breakfast was basic but pleasant and the vibe around that part of the building was good; I had reservations about booking after reading some reviews but my concerns were completely unfounded.
