The location was convenient because it’s in a construction‑material district, which suited us. However, the advertised amenities didn’t match reality: the description said every room had a toilet and shower, but they were actually in the corridor. I had asked in advance whether there was a fridge for my hourly medication; they said yes, but it wasn’t in the room – it was in the yard outside the building. I had to descend a horrible, uneven staircase in the dark to get my medicine at night. The room itself hadn’t been renovated in a century, had mold on the corners, no furniture, only a bed and a chair, and the storage was a tiny locker that didn’t fit anything. I paid extra for an “upgraded” room, so the site description was a complete lie.
