We had a wonderful holiday at Dønhaug Gjestegard. From the moment we arrived we felt incredibly welcome. Magne is a fantastic host – friendly, attentive and genuinely involved. He gave us an immediate sense of home. The stay itself is atmospheric and comfortable, and the surroundings are beautiful to explore. We enjoyed every day and wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Norway. Tja. Kan hier niets op bedenken
A 120‑year‑old wooden house with soul, located on a farm. Across two floors there are six comfortable bedrooms and a living room. A well‑equipped kitchen is also a plus. The pleasant and very generous host lives in the neighboring house and gladly offers help if any problems arise.

It lies completely idyllic by a green meadow of fields and surrounded by beautiful mountains. Very friendly staff gave us great tips for a tour in Uskedalen. Ingenting
Very warm and helpful hosts. The holiday home with its typical Norwegian charm had everything you need to feel comfortable. For active hikers there are several challenging trails that are easily reachable by car, such as hikes on the Folgefonna, Skeisfjell and to the glacier in the national park.

A paradise spot! The little house is very comfortable and lovingly furnished for 2 or 3 people. We slept wonderfully, had a unique view of the fjord and the mountains, and watched the sunset right in front of us. Magne and Anne Berit are wonderful hosts! Short walks into nature, to the water or for shopping. Here you’re right in the heart of Norway!
