The place was very quiet, the buffet breakfast was good, and there was a lot of communication. The TV was missing in the room, the lights weren’t independent (no night lamp), and the shower hanger was inadequate.

The only bright spot was the breakfast at the main hotel, La Vella Farga, and the girl who served us was worth mentioning. The room was tiny and the temperature was excessively high – if we hadn’t read earlier reviews we would have known the thermostat is central. There were no basic services like a complimentary water bottle. The kitchen fridge was locked. Whenever we needed anything, the only option was to go to Solsona. The spa was pricey (70€ for two people) and we had to turn on the light every time it went off because it’s automatic. The water was cut off, so we couldn’t use the chromotherapy shower or even shower at all; we had to walk across a wet garden in the cold to get back to the room. The requested shower time was not ready, it arrived two hours late, forcing us to change our afternoon plans. The Wi‑Fi was bad. In short, we don’t recommend booking just a room. It’s far below the cost we paid.

“HORROROSO”

It was awful. The heating didn’t work, there was no hot water, and I couldn’t even warm up in the morning because of the cold and the water that tasted like from a fridge. I couldn’t shower. The door didn’t fit; there was a gap visible from the outside. The radiator (which was non‑functional) had dust that could be planted. I tried to go to the reception of the hotel (which is part of the rural house) to ask for a refund for the deficiencies, but it was 1 km away and I didn’t have time. I plan to return to Solsona, go to the establishment, ask for explanations, and file the formal complaint. Very disappointing.

Breakfast was spectacular at the dining room of La Vella Farga. The staff were very attentive at all times. The place is very pretty and in a peaceful setting. The heating didn’t work and there was no hot water. They left us an electric heater to warm the room, which was enough, but the hot water didn’t work. In the spa facilities, the chromotherapy shower had no water. It’s sad because overall the house is very beautiful and the staff are very attentive, but we had this bad luck with the heating and hot water.

“Fin de semana perfecto gracias a la compañía , desastrosa la estancia.”

It’s a rural house with a lot of charm, very pretty, and you feel a cozy atmosphere when you see it. Once you enter the room, in this case we had the Rosella room. The heating didn’t work in January during heavy rain – we told Gemma and they brought an electric radiator for us and other guests. It was fine, we overlooked it. When we tried to shower, there was no hot water; the technician said it would be ready in an hour, and that was the case, but we could only shower once because it went cold again. The cistern never supplied water. The house and hotel responses were not what we expected. During breakfast they wanted to charge an extra fee for a tortilla breakfast, an extra fee? No, forgive them because we should at least have had the money for the stay refunded or at least a meal at the hotel for all the trouble caused, but thanks! The tortilla was great. I forgot about the spa… Wait, they come with more stuff! Do you have to exit the spa to activate the sensor that lasts about 5 min? I don’t know… The color shower is beautiful, many color changes but no water, and the sanitary shower, no water either! Being out of the spa water felt cold and not pleasant. I think that’s all. Well, to say something about check‑in and check‑out, you have to go expressly to the hotel. But I hope everything is that. I hope this review helps you consider the maintenance of the house and the customers, so if it’s not 100 % you can’t make reservations. (Advice) It’s a shame.
