The value for money was great for the two nights, with comfortable rooms and good sleeping arrangements. The toiletries, bedding, and linen were high quality. There were plenty of seating and chill‑out areas, and the added log fire was a nice touch. The downside was the drink prices at the bar; I would have stayed at the bar and in the surrounding rooms longer if the pricing for hotel guests had been cheaper.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Entrance to driveway could be better signed. Arriving late at night we nearly drove passed it

I thought the staff were very helpful and had a great attitude. The room was good and I thought the bathroom great. It was good to be in a country setting. Minor point but as I didn't opt for cooked breakfast perhaps have some fresh fruit options as well
