It sits on the highway and along the Tbilisi–Yerevan minibus route, so you can step off right at the hotel if you tell the driver ahead of time. Smbat, the owner and manager, organized rafting and a tasty dinner at my request. His wife cooked a breakfast of local ingredients with a Caucasian flair. The guys also arranged taxis for trips around the area, and their help with other matters was valuable. I wish them luck and thank them for the hospitality!

The owner’s courtesy and the chance to dine on a spacious terrace with a full kitchen in complete silence and privacy were highlights. The Wi‑Fi signal inside the room was weak.

The owner was flexible with room assignments and, although a hair dryer wasn’t listed, he arranged one quickly upon request; the attic terrace is large and cozy, and breakfast was plentiful, but the Wi‑Fi was weak in the morning, officially only available from 10 o’clock and it was hard to get it earlier.

The accommodation was very nice with a large breakfast; we also booked rafting for the family here and everything went perfectly.

“Nichts für Leute mit leichtem Schlaf”

The property sits in a new building with nearly new furnishings, offers rafting (which we didn’t book because of the weather), and serves breakfast and dinner with generous, varied portions that tasted good. The rooms are small and the beds had very soft mattresses; the hotel is right on a busy road, so cars, trucks, and trains are loudly audible in every room. Dinner prices were unstable: the description said 5 € per person, but on the first night we were charged 5000 Dram (about 12 €), and on the second night 7500 Dram. Breakfast starts only at 10 a.m.
