The rooms were small but the bed was exceptionally comfy, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was decent, and the central spot right on the edge of a big square was convenient, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Parking was a short walk away and cost 10 euros, and the hotel itself felt a bit worn and lacked the bright vibe that other properties in the chain usually have.

The breakfast was a decent standard fare, the room was clean and roomy enough, and the location was perfect for exploring the town. However, being woken twice at night by an alarm that rattled all the doors with no explanation was annoying. I had to run around the hotel in the dark to find out the alarm had been triggered for a guest smoking in his room. Even if it was just a mistake, having it happen twice in half an hour was quite stressful.

No elevator, lots of stairs.

Everything was fine. The only downside was the hotel’s exterior and the neighborhood.
