The Landhotel & Reiterhof Schumann is a family-run hotel in the Thuringian countryside, 2 km from Triptis and near Triptis Train Station. It features a spa with sauna, steam room, and massage area. Rooms have flat-screen TVs, countryside views, and private bathrooms. The restaurant serves Thuringian cuisine, specializing in dumplings, in an informal atmosphere. A9 motorway access is nearby, with Weimar 40 minutes and Erfurt 55 minutes away.

Ruhige Lage. Ausreichend Parkplätze. Weiß nicht wie die guten Bewertungen zustande gekommen sind. Ich hatte Zimmer 21 (nach hinten zum Garten/ Bieggarten gelegen). Das Fenster musste ich geschlossen lassen weil sonst übler Küchendunst rein kam. Trotz abgeschlossener Tür stand um etwa 18.30 Uhr plötzlich eine Person mit Staubsauger im Zimmer. Besonders eklig war eine Rolle Toilettenpapier, die wahrscheinlich schon einmal im vollgepissten WC lag und einfach wieder zum Trocknen hingestellt wurde (siehe Foto). Des Weiteren versuchte man bei aufkommender Kritik zu diskutieren

The welcome was friendly, the holiday apartment was lovely, and we were given a 3‑bedroom room; the ambience was nice, the breakfast was super tasty, the location was perfect, everything we liked. The only downside was that the bedroom had only one window, but that didn’t bother us for one night.

Very very comfortable place with a wonderful history. Otto is the perfect host. Hopefully we will return there again one day
