“Beautiful stately home near Galway city centre with a wonderful breakfast.”
The grand home was beautiful and within walking distance of Galway city centre in the trendy Salthill area; the host family was accommodating and kind, serving a delicious and plentiful breakfast. Our room was large, beautifully decorated like an old stately home, giving the feel of a country manor in the middle of the city, and the location was unbeatable. The bed was comfy and a parking spot was provided. However, the house and our room were quite chilly, especially since it rained hard that day and throughout, and the wifi was very poor, particularly upstairs.
