Quietly located and cosy, just a 10‑minute drive to the train station in Montelupo. Getting to the courtyard is a bit of an adventure.

The dinner here is super tasty. The location was convenient for a day trip to Florence. We had been here years before, so expectations were high. Some things are now dated, for example the standard of our room was no longer up to date. It looked a bit untidy and disorganised in parts. The pool was cleaned on the second day; at arrival it wasn’t very inviting. The cushions on the pool loungers should be replaced, some umbrellas were broken, which we found disappointing.

Clean, quiet, and on a lovely little hill. The staff were polite and kind. The buffet breakfast was excellent.

Breakfast was basic, cramped, and the kitchen staff did their best. The property could be wonderful, but it feels sad and almost abandoned. The pool isn’t well maintained, the jacuzzi is downright dirty, the green areas are neglected, halfway through the week I had to ask for towels, and the bathroom in the room was defective and poorly maintained.
