The hotel itself was fabulous, but the restaurant service was a complete disgrace.

I was happy with everything that was promised; the staff were friendly except on the first breakfast day. Unfortunately, because of dry mouth I had to bring my own drinks, and for breakfast I need decaf coffee. On the first day no coffee was offered because the machine was supposedly broken, even though I had called ahead to ask if I should bring coffee. On the second day, Claudia from the service team made my breakfast perfect—thanks again, Claudia.

The location is lovely, and we stayed in the large Landvogt Suite overlooking Lake Constance. The hotel blends traditional rooms with modern entrance and dining areas nicely. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. The only downside is the very unusual plastic massage shower, which feels wobbly, and the high entrance and cramped space make it less comfortable.

The hotel is unusual and quiet, with an original, peaceful room and attentive staff. Nothing else to add.
