Elisabeth and George were an exceptional pair with their friendliness, attentiveness, cheerfulness, and good hearts; the historic building had personality and cared for every detail; the healthy, exquisite, and complete breakfast; a spot to store the bike; a welcome drink and aperitif; the place’s tranquility; the nearby pizzeria was superb, and they called to make a reservation for me; the room was spectacular, with a comfortable bed, super‑hot shower, eco‑sustainable bathroom, hairdryer, towels, and Wi‑Fi; thanks a lot, see you next time! The only issue was the grainy steps and the old, worn wooden floor in the room, which required careful footing, but that’s part of the building’s history, so nothing serious.
