A beautiful old house that looks new yet retains its historic charm; a great place to stay with a tasty breakfast and a caring host, nothing is missing. As a coffee lover I was thrilled to find a Nespresso machine in the hallway, which made the stay even better. Ventilation is an issue: the window works but is poorly positioned relative to the outside opening and lacks a shutter, so it had to stay open for a long time, attracting a cloud of flies and other debris that landed on the room light. In the surrounding countryside there’s no decent restaurant, so we had to grab baguettes, ham, cheese, and drinks from Super U to fill our stomachs.

Very personalized welcome, the owner adjusted to our specific timing requests, the room and bathroom were spotless and spacious, and the only thing missing was perhaps a multi‑plug near the bed.
