The rooms look like they’re meant to be upscale—bathtub, sofa in the triple‑bedroom—but the actual fittings are subpar; the tub leaked, the whole bathroom stayed damp, the windows barely shut, and the curtains are too short to block the morning sun. The setting is beautiful, perched among mountains and rice paddies, and we get why upkeep is tough post‑COVID, yet the price felt far too high.
