The spot is smack‑in‑the‑middle of the city, only 500m from the market, yet it feels like a quiet nature retreat. The hosts are unbelievably gentle, the breakfast is great, the accommodation is solid, and the pool is perfect for unwinding and cooling off.

We stayed twice at Nugraha House during our Bali trip; the location is perfect, tucked away in a street just off the bustling main roads of Ubud center, but still very quiet and peaceful and full of greenery. The family is amazing and very welcoming. There are only 2 bungalows with a nice pool in between. The breakfast is very basic and could use some improvements.

The hosts are lovely and the location is fantastic, the rooms feel very comfortable. The shower in one lodge could use a bit of work.

The family is charming and they share a beautiful pool between two houses. It sits right in the centre of Ubud (no more than 10 minutes from the palace) but the area is very calm. For a repeat visit, the people are the best.

The owners are kind, the place is close to the centre, and it’s very quiet. The only thing missing is a small fridge in the bungalows.
