“Waste of Money -”

The location was good. That’s it. That’s the only saving grace for this hotel. 1. Room - when we got there, you can actually see that the bed was already used. I asked them to put new bedsheets but they did not do that. I placed our sweaters and towels on top of the bed for the next 2 nights so that it’s “clean”. Nobody went there to clean or change the bedsheets. 2. Communication - I asked for the hotel’s manager to resolve the issue of the dirty room but we were not able to talk to one. We also had a hard time resolving the issue at their hotel lobby since nobody can help us. They were pointing that the issue was with , and team stated that they had a hard time reaching out to the hotel since nobody was answering their calls. Clearly bad coodination and communication between the 2. 3. Refund - We asked for a refund for the next nights that were not going to use (since we want to transfer to another hotel after the 2nd night of nobody assisting us), but the hotel declined to provide us any refund. We got an email from the team stating that the hotel did not want to refund us

The staff were generally attentive, even those who didn’t speak English. Hot water was down the first day but fixed quickly; towel changes and service were daily upon request and basic amenities could be replenished; there’s a water fountain in the hallway. From the first stay I liked the views from the seventh floor, though the room was smaller than the one we got the second time on the third floor. The bed was comfortable and the indirect lighting was good. Maintenance is quite poor, which you can anticipate from the price. The room had furniture defects, a stain on the bedspread, and the second bathroom had small bugs in the shower; cleaning was somewhat fair. Breakfast isn’t bad but basic in quality and options. Soundproofing could be better against hallway and outside noise. We checked out early and asked the day before if we could bring some breakfast; the front desk guy said yes but then didn’t prepare anything—probably didn’t understand the request even after saying yes.
