We spent one night and two days right in the heart of Ho Chi Minh, close to the sights and shops we wanted, but the bathroom was terribly damp; the vent could be turned on but it was so loud we couldn’t leave it running overnight, and the air‑conditioner was noisy as well.

The location is superb in the middle of District 1, within walking distance of everything in the area. The staff are very friendly, and the lobby offers free snacks and drinks. There’s a decent‑sized washing basket that the hotel will handle for 100 k the next day. The price was great for what’s included. At peak hours the noise is pretty loud; double glazing or staying at the rear might help. There’s also a sewer smell coming from the bathroom sink.
