“Good Resort In Good Location, Marred By Lack of Island Local Offerings In Many Areas”
First and foremost, the staff were awesome: friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, presentable, and they spoke and articulated very well. Hats off to Azizah at the restaurant who assisted us a lot with food and she always smiles! Breakfast was good and satisfying. The room accommodated all four of us, and the second floor had a kampung vibe with floor boards visible from the bed on the ground/first floor. Water pressure and the water heater were good, and the basic room amenities met our expectations. The location is good because the resort is just next to the Teluk Nipah happening area and right by the beach. The resort’s color is yellow, which is just too tacky; perhaps the building color should blend with the environment—light yellow, off‑white, or light beige would look nicer. We couldn’t see the beach or sea directly from the hotel because the front was blocked by roadside stalls and shops. The local council should allow the beach side of the road to be free of stalls and shops so people can enjoy the sea view and go straight to the beach without maneuvering around the shops; perhaps the resort should collaborate with the local council on this.
