A great spot for trekking to Colca, with a very friendly welcome. Natural hot springs on the river were superb, and the meals were tasty. However, the room was infested with insects, spiders, and scorpions; there were no mosquito nets and the door wouldn’t close properly.

A peaceful oasis at the bottom of the Colca Canyon, with the highlight being the hot springs by the river. The huts are very basic, exactly as shown in the photos, and the owner is extremely friendly. The room definitely needs to be inspected for bugs.

The warm water baths were delightful after the walk, and the location is beautiful. However, there were bugs in the room and no option to bring breakfast if you leave early in the morning (5:00), unlike the adjacent accommodation.

The accommodation is very expensive for the services offered. Sure, it’s deep in the canyon, but that doesn’t justify the low food quantity for such high prices (you’ll only get 2 pancakes for breakfast, which is still very little for a place that mainly hosts hikers).

In de baden zitten was wel lekker. De huisjes zitten vol met muggen, maar het is wel schoon. Het avondeten komt veel te laat zeker na zo een intensieve wandeling. Om 19:30 zouden we eten, echter kwam het eten pas om 20:15
