We booked a double‑bed room and a room with two single beds, but only one room was available, with a kitchen right in front of the beds. The owner never stopped by to check on us, and we had to buy extra toilet paper ourselves. The website claimed a cot for my one‑year‑old was free, yet I was told upon arrival that I had to pay for it. In the last two days, the owner sent someone to our door demanding an extra 40 € in tax—something not mentioned on the site and no receipt was provided. The pool was only open until 6:30 pm because our room faced a restaurant, another detail omitted from the listing. On the final day ash from Etna covered the floor; a worker was blowing it with a large blower, making it impossible to walk to the car because the ash was everywhere and the worker didn’t pause for us.

The environment was very quiet, clean, and comfortable. I never got a chance to meet the owner in person, but she was very helpful and considerate. I would definitely return.
