Kim and John were fantastic hosts, welcoming and eager to share local tips, dining spots, and travel info. The location is perfect for visiting the NEC, just a short walk to the train station—only a 3‑minute journey—and also convenient for airport layovers. The room itself was lovely, and despite the shared bathroom, it didn’t bother me. Breakfast was cooked to order and a delightful way to start the day. I’d gladly recommend it and would stay again if I’m nearby. The White Lion pub is just a short walk away for a cozy evening meal or quick drink.

Just a quick walk from the station to the NEC, the place was easy to spot and the hosts Kim and John welcomed me into their home with a warm greeting. The B&B had that classic “Old Skool” vibe, a clean and spacious room with a big bed, and they were ready to answer any questions and even suggested a nice woodland walk that evening. The breakfast was cooked to order and delicious, making the stay lovely and highly recommended. The only downside is there are no shops or simple restaurants nearby; there’s a pub and a few fancy spots for meals.

The spot was perfect for getting to the NEC, and the hosts were super friendly and helpful, sharing useful tips about local transport, eateries, and the area. My room, located upstairs, was clean, roomy, and quiet, complete with tea and coffee facilities, a sink, and a couple of chairs. The bed was comfortable, though it creaked a bit whenever we moved. Parking was available on the driveway, but we used the station car park when we took the train so the hosts could move their cars in and out without blocking them. The full English breakfast was freshly made, tasty, and generous in portion, and the bathroom was clean, spacious, and had a powerful shower. Overall, great value for money.
