The place was great – great location, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and excellent breakfast.

The staff were very friendly, the room and grounds were clean and well maintained, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was hot and refreshing after a long day. The only drawback was the Wi‑Fi, which was weak and kept dropping out. I didn’t mind much, since staying off our phones was part of the escape; we only used it to look up information.

The pool water temperature was just right. I had to wait an hour after checking in for a room to be ready, and the pool had large clumps of hair floating in it and there weren’t enough towels.
