The view was unbelievable! Breakfast was great, dinner was great, Vincenzo was terrific, and Clevis was our server on two of the nights and he was great. The only negative thing was the room‑service Caesar salad and club sandwich weren’t very good.

Three floors of steps after breakfast or dinner is very hard for seniors

I have to point out the poor cleanliness of the rooms and the pool, which doesn't match the type of establishment, and the staff were not very helpful; I expected a proper welcome and support from the foreign staff, and the breakfast was lacking. These are not criticisms meant to diminish the property, on the contrary, the location is magnificent. The staff were the main issue.

The atmosphere and surroundings were fantastic! Some parts of the hotel should be renovated, though.

The pool and the staff were excellent, the breakfast was great, and the views were stunning. The terrace restaurant menu was only okay, and we stayed for 10 days, which is unusual for this hotel that usually hosts short stays and guests moving around. Unfortunately the menu didn't change, which was very disappointing. Explore the cafés in Gaiole and the surrounding area.
