The house matched the photos and the descriptions in other reviews, was clean and modern, and had a private bathroom for us. Paul and Jinny were very gracious and offered helpful subway and restaurant tips; Paul even picked us up from the airport bus stop, which is hard to find otherwise. Breakfast was healthy, tasty, and only ₩5000 per person—totally worth it—and it was easy to eat it and leave the house right after. They also made us coffee and homemade yogurt. Day one we had a ham sandwich, fried eggs, and kiwi; day two an egg salad sandwich, salad, and grapefruit. The facilities were clean, and there was a washing machine in the communal kitchen, though we didn’t use it. The bed felt a bit firm but nothing terrible. Some travelers might dislike the location because it’s outside the tourist area, but we liked the quiet and the chance to see locals’ daily lives. The accommodation was upstairs, which wasn’t an issue for us, but if stairs are a problem you might want to reconsider. Paul carried our luggage for us even though he didn’t have to, which helped with the second‑floor access. We walked to the market street and dinner, and depending on your comfort with walking, stairs, and steep slopes, this might or might not be a problem.

The accommodation is in a quiet residential area a bit away from the center, yet it’s well connected. The room, like the rest of the house, was very clean and tastefully furnished with bright wooden furniture. The hosts were very attentive and friendly. If you’re looking for a small, cozy place in Seoul, this is exactly what you need.
