B&B Cimatori sits in Florence’s historic center, just 200 m from the Cathedral, offering air‑conditioned rooms with private baths, TV, and free Wi‑Fi. Located on the second floor of a heritage building, guests enjoy a free internet point. The property is within walking distance of Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vecchio, and Santa Maria Novella Station, surrounded by restaurants and shops.

The continental breakfast was excellent with a wide choice and everything very fresh. The location was great; never had more than a 15 minute walk and most were shorter (e.g. 6 minutes to Uffizi Gallery, 10 to the Pizzi Palace). I dealt with Mattia who is very friendly and knowledgeable; he answers texts promptly, has great suggestions for restaurants based on my preferences and always sends a link. I was in the smallest room. While I might consider more space in a future stay, it was fine. Be aware that there is a 2 flight walk up to the rooms and you must be prepared to carry your suitcase; there is no elevator. However, I didn't find this much of a problem.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet was great, the location was excellent, and the rooms were nicely furnished. The TV should also have international channels (not only Italian) and it was often noisy at night against the street.

The hosts were fantastic, friendly and helpful. They gave us excellent tips on sights that weren’t crowded with tourists and on genuine restaurants. Breakfast is very good and the accommodation is otherwise fresh and well‑maintained. The location is ideal for visiting historic Florence.
