Good internet and friendly hosts. The underground staircase is awful, with cat urine. The sanitary area is very questionable: the shower in the shared bathroom for 10 people doesn’t drain, and the toilet flush barely works. The free pickup mentioned in the system doesn’t exist; instead, a pricey taxi is offered.

The hosts were very kind and available. As soon as I ran into a problem, they were there and did everything they could to resolve it quickly. The main downside is the cleanliness of the common areas: the building is quite old, and outside the rooms the shared spaces aren’t always very clean, which can unfortunately encourage insects. Regarding payment, the exchange rate applied by Booking isn’t very favorable, and a payment intermediary adds extra fees of about €3. So the price may look attractive when shown in local currency, but when paying by card the applied exchange rate isn’t the same as the local market rate. You have to factor in those fees and the rate before comparing prices.

The location is fantastic, just 5 min from the Casbah and 10 min from the main tourist spots; the staff are very friendly but they’re not on site, so you’ll need to call ahead via WhatsApp. There’s no air‑conditioning, only a fan, but the kitchen is functional. You can book dorms or a room with two single beds. Overall I’m happy with the service and the value for money – big thanks to Ali! The only downside is the lack of AC.

It turned out to be a scam. I arrived to find everything closed; the phone number didn’t answer and locals told me the hotel didn’t exist, so I cancelled the booking. Unfortunately I was still charged, and there was no refund from Booking.

The location is decent. The breakfast is very basic and the espresso or cappuccino are extra‑paid, which feels stingy. There’s no bottled water in the rooms even though it’s 50 °C, and no tissues either. The male staff are quite rough and don’t give enough attention to customers. I won’t stay here again.
