The host was very attentive and handed over a very clean room. The shared areas were spotless. We stayed in October when it was a bit chilly, but the heater worked well and the room stayed warm.

The spot’s spot-on—just a block from eateries, cafés, and the bus stop, and only ten minutes to the supermarket. Hikes are right off the doorstep, and the showers were hot, the room cozy, and the price was a steal. The hosts were fantastic; when I had to cut my visit short, they immediately refunded me—a generous move. I’d definitely come back and would tell anyone to stay here. On the downside, there was no kitchen, just a kettle, which was fine for me but a small kitchenette would have helped. There was no common area, but I didn’t feel the need to use one; I just went home to sleep. If I were planning hikes, I might have stayed in Ivan Do instead, because it cuts about thirty minutes each way to the trails (though you’d need to buy groceries before heading out or hike back to town).
