We just got back from Italy with three families—four adults and four teens—and Casa Iris in Alpe Colla was our last stop; the spot is amazing, just above Omegna, surrounded by forest, absolute silence, and fresh air; the hosts were incredibly welcoming, kind, and always ready to help; the rooms had everything needed and were cleaned daily; one room opened onto the lawn with a small table and chairs, perfect for wine and peace; nearby hiking trails were great; breakfasts were tasty and the hostess even packed paninis for the road—what a thoughtful touch; the hotel restaurant served outstanding food, the best we ate all trip; huge thanks to the hosts for their amazing hospitality; we highly recommend it.

Everything was as expected from a host—Nicoletta and Michele were great, the facilities, breakfast, and restaurant food were all very good, and the peaceful surroundings were perfect, so highly recommended. Clearer driving directions would help: after reaching the square in Germagno, take the narrow uphill road on the right to reach Casa Iris and Osteria La Baita on the road to the monastery.

Michele and her husband were very attentive, the rooms were spotless and the bedding was top quality, the breakfast and meals were excellent, we highly recommend it! No issues.

The setting was calm, the apartment was spacious and comfortable with an Italian shower, a small garden was available, the breakfast was excellent and plentiful, the hosts were charming, the attached restaurant was very good, and note that driving access is best via Germanio (the wider road).
