“A perfect wee Highland escape”
The isolation was spot on, not too far from the NC500, and the pod offered everything needed to unwind. It comfortably slept four adults and three dogs, and the patio was perfect for cooking breakfast outside in the morning. The supplied breakfast ingredients were lovely. In the evening you could walk up the small hill behind the pods, sit on the bench and stargaze with no light pollution, or just relax in one of the hammocks. The honesty shop next to the pods stocked snacks, board games, a telescope and more, and accepted donations for the air ambulance—a nice touch. Several fire pits were available for evening relaxation or a BBQ. The remoteness made it feel like an escape, yet there were plenty of activities after a long day exploring the surroundings. I’d recommend staying at least one night instead of just passing through so you can fully enjoy everything this lovely wee place offers. It’s the perfect Highland escape! ❤️
