The room, with its private bathroom, was lovingly furnished with antiques. The breakfast was typical French and very generous, with baguette, various sweet pastries like croissant, pain au chocolat, homemade jams, muesli, yoghurt and fruit, leaving no desire unmet. Alexis was a very accommodating host and recommended many interesting excursions. The restaurants he suggested were outstanding. We would gladly stay there again on a future visit.

Notre séjour dans ce Bed and Breakfast parisien a été exceptionnel. Avec sa seule chambre, l’endroit offre une intimité et un calme précieux. Tout était parfait : l’appartement, le confort de la chambre, et surtout l’amabilité de notre hôte. Le matin, il nous servait un déjeuner raffiné, accompagné de ses confitures maison. Par discrétion, il nous laissait profiter de notre moment, mais nous l’avons invité à la table — et ce fut un vrai bonheur de partager de belles conversations avec lui. Si cela vous plaît, n’hésitez pas à l’inviter à se joindre à vous, : c’est un homme charmant, cultivé et d’une grande délicatesse. Malgré la chaleur intense (canicule) lors de notre séjour, il a tout mis en œuvre pour que nous soyons parfaitement bien. Nous y reviendrons sans hésiter

We were absolutely thrilled! The host was extremely attentive, and breakfast was not only plentiful but also very personalized. He also gave us many great tips that made our stay in Paris easier and more enjoyable. The location is simply outstanding – the subway is just a short walk away. The apartment itself enchanted us with its many loving details. We would come back anytime. A heartfelt thank you to the host!

Alexis is a wonderful host, his breakfasts are delicious, and the 4th‑floor decor is full of charm and beauty. The bedroom and ensuite bathroom in his flat are very clean and comfortable. If you like opening the window at night, know that people coming out of the neighborhood restaurant/bars late at night can be pretty noisy. But the location is terrific for exploring the Right Bank and beyond while staying away from the tourist hubs. We loved our chats with Alexis – he gave us space but gladly shared everything from directions to history – and thanks to his tip and glowing review, we got tickets to the amazing Matisse exhibition at the Grand Palais.
