Before arriving, I had a bout of diarrhea that didn’t improve, but after checking in the owner knew and took us to a clinic for IV therapy and medication, staying with us the whole time—so grateful! Though we didn’t visit many temples, the warmth of the people stood out, and the restaurant food was delicious with generous portions. Anyone visiting Bodh Gaya should not miss this very warm youth hostel.
