I loved how close the hotel was to the city center and the two main beaches, but the room was infested with a lot of mosquitoes.

The accommodation was conveniently situated near all the main attractions on Vulcano, very comfortable, and the terrace seating was nice, though mosquitoes are everywhere on Vulcano and you can't avoid them; the owner gave us a plug‑in mosquito repellent.

Everything was almost perfect, except the electrical outlets, which were the only problem in all of Italy.
