“Very enjoyable. Very talented stafff.”

The place looked stunning, and the room was mostly clean, though the vanity lights had dust and a bolt was missing from the toilet seat. I couldn't figure out why there was foil on the window above the door, and the code for the “limited club” didn't work, but I could still get in through the front door. The staff were fantastic—engaging and helpful. The bike trail across from the property is a bit hard to reach without going onto the road, but it's worth the effort. The pillows in the room were a bit underwhelming, but overall it was an amazing experience.

The hotel was gorgeous, but the walls were paper thin. At this price, I expected better TV remotes, soft‑closing toilet seats, and no pubes in the shower.

“It’s more like an Airbnb except you have no contact for issues until hours later. Pot!!!! Not a hotel!!!”

The place was dirty, smelled of pot, had hair in the shower, and the exterior doors offered little protection from a large group next door playing live music; the room was tiny, the TV didn’t work, and I hated it, leaving me with no choice but to leave.

“A very nice room and property for a relaxing stay.”

The hotel met my expectations for a nice stay: the room was quiet, the sheets crisp, and everything worked. What stood out was sitting in the yard in the late afternoon under shade, surrounded by trees and a view of the river through them—an incredibly pleasant experience. Too bad the restaurant was closed on Tuesday, because I really wanted to sit there and enjoy the best of Missouri. The wifi was kind of sketchy, and I had to blackout the windows because of bright outside lights; I would have preferred to leave the drapes open so the sun could wake me up.

The spot is great, staff were courteous, the restaurant and bar were awesome, and the room was clean with a comfy bed, though the steps up to the room are a bit of a hassle.
