The place looks nice at first glance and you’re allowed a bit more time in the pool. From the moment you arrive the staff are personal but not very friendly, and they took a long time to give me my room even though it was scheduled for an hour earlier. In the back where the stairs lead to some rooms there are dirty mattresses, refrigerators in the hallway, and dirty sheets, which look awful. Because it rained that day, a strong drainage smell came out. The room we got had animals on the beds and on the walls, causing some family members to get rashes. I don’t recommend it; it looks comfortable and pretty, but once you’re there you see all the drawbacks of this hotel.

Excelente estancia en La Rosa de los Vientos – 4.8 / 5 Tuvimos una experiencia maravillosa en este hotel. Lo que más destaca, sin duda, es la atención del personal: siempre amables, accesibles y al pendiente de los turistas. A pesar de ser un hotel pequeño, las instalaciones son muy bonitas, agradables e impecablemente limpias. Tener salida directa a la playa es un súper plus que se disfruta al máximo, y la alberca es un detalle muy lindo para relajarse (¡aunque con el mar a unos pasos casi ni hace falta!). Aunque el centro de Tuxpan queda un poco retirado, en recepción te ayudan amablemente a pedir taxi sin ningún problema. Como único detalle constructivo, un menú de comida un poco más amplio estaría excelente, pero en general la experiencia fue de 10. Ideal para: Parejas y familias que busquen un ambiente pacífico, tranquilo y en plan de relax total. ¡Muy recomendado!

It has direct beach access. If you come without a vehicle it’s a bit tricky, but the management helps you arrange safe taxis.

The location is right in front of the beach, with shops and restaurants nearby; besides the hotel’s own restaurant, the staff were very good and friendly, and the facilities were clean. The only downside is that in the pool and vegetation area there are many mosquitoes and gnats; we all got heavily bitten, used repellent, but it didn’t help much—some action on that would be great.
