B&B Palazzo Montesanto

“Very enjoyable; recommend it!”

The room was excellent and the location close to the water and ferry port. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the host even went to great lengths to help me find a measuring tool for my medicine by calling his father, a pharmacist, who provided exactly what I needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The breakfast wasn’t very robust—just one slice of cheese, one slice of salami, a couple of pastries, and coffee—which I understand is typical for B&Bs along the Amalfi Coast. We did visit a great little breakfast spot nearby a couple of times.

It was our second visit to this property, and we loved how close everything was; Gaetano and his mom made sure we felt very well taken care of, breakfast arrived on time every morning, they arranged a private driver and gave great dinner recommendations, and it truly felt like staying with family; we’ll definitely return next time—thanks for everything

The room was very clean and within walking distance of the beach, but it was small, not actually in a palazzo but in an old dated apartment block, the name was somewhat misleading, and the price was very high for what it offered

The location was right by the beach, the view was nice, and the lady at reception was very kind and gave us extra coffee pods to soften our disappointment; the breakfast was a major let‑down, you get almost nothing and must pay extra for more, and the coffee pods were offered while the photos showed a Dolce Gusto machine; I reported this but the lady said the photos were ten years old; the building itself felt awful, a creepy and eerie vibe, and the B&B is on the fourth floor—we didn’t dare take the lift, which was so old you couldn’t even see which floor you were on
