“Travelling is an adventure”
I thought the hotel was a walking distance from the airport—20 minutes, I read—so I walked 40 minutes because the route was very complicated. I dragged my luggage along the broken street, sometimes on the grass because there was no good pedestrian way. The ladies at the hotel told me I had taken a wrong route and that the distance to the airport is only 1 km. No, it was not. The distance was 2 km and walking took long as the route was so complicated. There is only one route to the airport. I stayed only for the night, left at 3.50 a.m., walked again, because the taxi should have cost 25 euros! The hotel should make some arrangements with taxi drivers so that they are available also early in the morning at a reasonable price. This is anyway an airport hotel. I did not get any breakfast, nothing to eat as I left so early. The room included breakfast = I paid for it, but got nothing. The room was very simple, old fashioned, but somehow nicely nostalgic. Some very black and thick flies liked the shower and grey silverfish wanted to run on the floor. The staff was very nice indeed and the garden and restaurant seemed to be cosy, though I did not have time to have a dinner there.
