The front desk staff were friendly and I liked the new look of the room, but the mattress cover was dirty and I was on the lookout for bed bugs as I always am; the bathroom hadn’t been updated, didn’t feel clean, so I showered in flip‑flops anyway, yet the hot water didn’t work and there was black mold around the tub; the only reason we stayed was that we had already paid for the room before arrival, even though the website clearly said that wasn’t the case.
