The location is excellent and the breakfast is complete. The self‑service system works well. I appreciate how the lodge has adapted a protected building, but some improvements—especially acoustic—would boost comfort without changing the character. Noise from nearby bars, trains, pigeons on the adjacent building, and internal chatter plus the water tank are significant distractions that ruin sleep in the rooms.

The breakfast was flawless, the room was spotless and incredibly cozy, and the bathroom was immaculate thanks to the housekeeping and admin staff; it was so great I didn’t want to leave. I didn’t find anything I disliked, I loved everything.
