“Great location, nice, clean room & helpful staff”
Great location in Monopoli’s old town, close to shops and the beaches outside. It would have been nice to have Netflix or another channel for English news and movies.

Tastefully modern room (as shown in the photos) – very good spot on a quiet alley in the old town – spacious room (but the bathroom is very small). In the bathroom and stairwell there was mold on the walls (with a noticeable smell). Wi‑Fi was unstable and often unavailable. The room was too quiet compared to the stairwell. Overpriced. Too many (and therefore confusing) details before arrival.

Location. The smell wasn’t right; I think old walls just stink.

The spot is right in the old town, close to the newer part, which is super convenient. The railway station is under a 15‑minute walk, and Porto Bianco and Porto Rosso beaches are about 15 minutes on foot; the main town beach, Spiaggia Cala Porta Vecchia, was still being renovated when we stayed. Check‑in and check‑out went smoothly, the hosts communicated well, and we were greeted in person and shown around the apartment. The rooftop terrace is the real highlight – great views and a nice place to chill. The apartment had a coffee machine, kettle, wine glasses and a roomy fridge. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, though getting up in the morning was tougher than expected. All in all, the place met our expectations and is a solid choice in its category; we’d gladly stay again on our next trip to Monopoli. The floors weren’t properly cleaned when we arrived, which was a bit disappointing. The building sits in a courtyard shared with local residents; one sells fruit and uses the courtyard for business. He leaves by car at around 4 a.m. and returns later, and the noise is clearly audible. In general, the courtyard comes alive around 7 a.m., so earplugs are a must for light sleepers. The kitchen was a bit limited for anyone planning to have a picnic on the rooftop terrace – we had a fridge, kettle and coffee machine, but some plates, cutlery and paper towels would have been handy. If you’re eating on the terrace, bring or buy those essentials ahead of time.
