The staff – Daniela, Cristina, and the kitchen girl – were very friendly. It’s a very central spot to explore Tuscany. The house is old but pretty and comfortable, with a full breakfast. Don’t forget to buy wine and olive oil. There are a couple of dogs that love to play. Sitting down to watch the sunset with a Chianti Reserva Podere Terreno is wonderful. Thanks a lot. It’s hard to get the air conditioning to work properly.

I especially enjoyed the special dinner Christina hosted for guests, made from local ingredients. The shower stall had one side partially permanently open, letting water leak out, and the access road was very rough – that’s pretty normal for properties in the area.

Very authentic, friendly staff, and a comfortable room. The breakfast was very good and varied. It was a bit difficult to get utensils for the food you brought yourself.
