The location is perfect for exploring Fes, and the lady who welcomed us was truly kind, greeting us superbly. The rooftop reception was fantastic, and the tea with a view is definitely the highlight. However, we had an issue with the hot water—hopefully they have fixed it by now. They told us the area was safe, and it is, but we advise staying very alert. At night, especially, don't trust anyone offering directions; they’ll just try to extort money, and we had a bad experience that unfortunately ruined our stay.

The Riad is located right inside the Medina of Fez, making it convenient and close to popular sites like the tanneries and Al-Qarawiyyin University. Nearby is a restaurant called Zohra where we ate delicious local food. A taxi, arranged with the Riad’s owner, took us from the airport for €30, and we were six of us. The owner is very welcoming, served us plentiful and tasty breakfasts, and gave us recommendations for main sights; on the last day she booked the taxi back to the airport. There’s also a terrace with a restaurant where we ate well and early, and from there the view of the Medina is amazing! The only downside was breakfast at 9 am, a bit late compared to Italy, because we had a city tour at 10 am and had to rush. The positive note is that we asked the reception guy to prepare breakfast for the next day, since we would leave at 7 am, and he brought it to us that evening.

Great location in the Medina and an excellent breakfast on the terrace. Wafa, an outstanding host who helped us a lot to enjoy our stay, and Omar, a wonderful person who was attentive at all times. Thank you for everything and goodbye.
